As Kwesi says, “I actually just finished filming a Tyler Perry movie called I CAN DO BAD
This year, Kwesi added prominent credits to his already prolific acting resume by capturing the lead role of ‘Manny’ in the new Tyler Perry film, I CAN DO BAD
It tells the story of “pistol packing” Madea, played by Tyler Perry,
who finds her house raided by three kids, including Manny played by
Kwesi. Trailers for the movie tease an audience with the recordings
from the 911 calls Madea makes. After the raid, she sends the kids to
live with their troubled, drunk Aunt April, played by Taraji P. Henson.
The movie progresses into the development of Aunt April’s character and
the changes she makes with her lifestyle.
In August 2009, filming begins for MEN OF A CERTAIN
“It’s called MEN OF A CERTAIN
there are three men who are in their mid forties and they are going
through a mid life crisis and I am one of the men’s son,” said Kwesi.
“My character’s name is ‘Jamie’ and I play the son of Andre Braugher. I
have another little brother in the script and our dad is going through
a mid life crisis and we’re caught in the middle of it.”
An
audience can expect a lot of humor from the new TV series because, as
Kwesi says “It’s fun. Ray Romano is a big star and he’s very funny and
he tells a lot of jokes.”
Kwesi began his acting and modeling career at ten-months-old, staring in a video for pre-school children, called TOTS ON TAPE. From there, he appeared in a worldwide Baby Gap campaign and continued on the road to stardom. Kwesi’s first staring role was on the medical drama, STRONG MEDICINE, at four-years-old. His career acting has expanded with roles in prominent television shows such as
Kwesi’s repertoire continues to grow. He just booked another series regular role on the new Cartoon Network animated series GUMBALL, voicing the character role of “

Off camera, Kwesi, a
native, is a normal ten-year-old boy. He is a gifted student who loves
reading, playing team basketball, soccer, football, swimming, skating,
biking, and taking hip-hop dance lessons. Kwesi enjoys spending time
with friends and family. Kwesi has two older brothers, Kwame and Kofi, who are also actors.
