The EP is Amirah’s very first body of work and takes listeners on a blissfully innocent journey through the unfiltered thoughts of an 18-year-old girl consumed by thoughts of love and self-discovery. Anchored by the playful single “Tokio,” the powerhouse title track “Wish It Wasn’t You,” and the self-love anthem “Beautiful,” the brilliant 6-song project, executive produced by Mustard, is filled with lush chords and enticing melodies that are destined to resonate with listeners of all ages.

Her first video, published in March 2021, went viral three months later, amassing over 11 million views. The video’s success led to her signing with Mustard’s Grammy Award-winning label, 10 Summers/Interscope Records, just six months later.

About Amirah:
Amirah Hall was born in Norfolk and raised in Hampton, Virginia. She began learning to play the piano at three and a half years old and got her first solo singing opportunity in the church choir when she was seven years old. She continued developing her musical talents throughout middle school, eventually joining the school band and picking up percussion. Inspired by her poet mother, she began writing about her experiences.
The world shut down halfway through Amirah’s 8th-grade year due to the pandemic, and the budding singer-songwriter found herself stuck at home. That’s when she took the plunge on TikTok, publishing her first video in March 2021. Three months later, she went viral with a stirring performance of Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever,” which has over 11 million views.
