BURBANK, CA–(Marketwire – October 14, 2010) –  Red-hot pop sensation Jason Derulo has been nominated for an American Music Award for T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist. The nomination follows on the heels of Derulo’s 2010 Teen Choice Award for “Choice Music: Album, R&B.” The American Music Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, November 21^st at 8 p.m. ET. For the fourth consecutive year, the winners will be determined by viewer voting on www.abc.com and www.amavote.com.

Derulo will also perform two songs on CBS’s Dancing With The Stars on Tuesday, October 19^th. So far this year, Derulo has appeared on American Idol, The View, Lopez Tonight, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Teen Choice Awards, America’s Got Talent, and Live With Regis and Kelly.
