19 Year Old Singing Sensation TINASHE Releases New Mixtape “Reverie” on Sept. 6th, 2012

September 6, 2012, marks the release date of Tinashe’s sophomore mixtape aptly titled, ‘REVERIE’. This mixtape comes on the heels of her critically acclaimed debut mixtape ‘In Case We Die’, a mixtape that exceeded all expectations by surpassing the 1,000,000 download benchmark just weeks after the release. It is in light of the demand and her desire to super-serve her fans that Tinashe wasted no time in creating yet another body of work, one that is sure to not disappoint.

‘REVERIE’, by definition, means to daydream. It is that state of consciousness as well as the perceived consciousness of the masses that brought this album to life. Seeking refuge and musical asylum from the craziness and madness of the world inside the confines of her bedroom, Tinashe one again acts alone to assemble this twelve song mixtape that may in fact spin the R&B world on its axis. Like ‘In Case We Die’, Tinashe wrote, produced and engineered ‘Reverie’ entirely by herself. Tinashe recently signed with RCA Records. Her major label debut album is expected in 2013.

Prior to the release of her mixtapes, Tinashe kept herself bubbling in the mainstream through her covers of Lil Wayne’s “How To Love” and Rihanna’s “We Found Love”, which have collectively received over one million YouTube views, and her unique “ASK TINASHE” viral question-and-answer series. She also sang the theme song for the CW NETWORK’S, “Shedding For The Wedding”, and had a recurring role on CBS hit show “Two and a Half Men” playing Celeste (Jake’s Girlfriend).
