About David “Boom” Pinks

Born and raised in Harlem, the Mecca of style and culture, David “Boom”
Pinks has developed into the ultimate renaissance artist, the likes of
which has not been seen since the legendary Duke Ellington and Ella
Fitzgerald. Growing up, Pinks had the amazing opportunity to travel the
world and perform in the internationally acclaimed Boys Choir of Harlem.
In the Boys Choir of Harlem, Pinks worked and performed along side some
of the most talented artists in history, from legendary entertainers,
like Luther Vandross, Babyface, Gerald Levert and Shania Twain. Pinks
has also worked with hip hop icons such as Kanye West, LL Cool J and
Mase.

At the tender age of 16, David had the opportunity to work with Kanye
West, which led to performances on two tracks on Kanye’s record breaking
debut album the “College Dropout” (Jesus Walks & Two Words). During
his opportunity to work with Kanye, he gave David the guidance and
inspiration he needed to follow his dreams of writing and producing,
which are his passions.

In a short period of time, Pinks then went on to produce tracks for
Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Mase, Fat Joe, Maino, Black Rob, Tum Tum, Big
Tuck, Jae Millz, Hell Rell, and DJ Webstar. Additionally, he is a
regular music producer for cable television, working for MTV’s hit
show’s “The Shop, 8th & Ocean, My Super Sweet 16, TRL, Made, Sucker
Free Countdown, Making the Band 4, E!’s “Keeping up with the
Kardashians”, and several other shows presently on network TV. He’s
currently working with Leona Lewis, Juelz Santana, Joe Budden, DJ
Webstar, Tony Sunshine and many more.
