Look Out For Elijah J’s New Release, “Meet Me on the Dance Floor!”

With “Meet Me on
the Dance Floor” Elijah J embodies the excitement, exuberance and
exhilaration of the power of movement enjoyed by today’s youth. Directed
by Erica D. Hayes, who has also directed videos for Kem and Ledisi,
with editing by Andrew D. Tomlinson, from JWE Productions, the video
takes place in a lively club scene populated with tweens and teens
showing off their best dance moves.

“‘Meet Me on the
Dance Floor’ is a fun song for kids that adults can jam to as well, ”
offers Elijah J. “I had a great time filming it and I got a chance to
showcase some of my original dance skills. I’m hoping it is a song
everyone will want to party to!”

“Elijah J is no
newcomer to the game, ” notes his father and manager Carl Johnson, “as
many remember him as Simba in the Disney production of ‘The Lion King.'”
The talented thespian was selected out of 8000 kids in 2008 and starred
in the national tour for two years, covering 16 cities, including a
Broadway run in New York, and his current hometown, Las Vegas.
Indicative of his popularity, last year his debut single and video “Let
Me Do My Thang” received over 100, 000 views in the first few weeks on
YouTube without any marketing push.

In addition, as one of the
newly selected faces and lead singers of Kidz Bop’s national singing and
