Last week’s Kids Choice Awards topped the cable charts with over 6 million viewers tuned in to Nickelodeon. With just over 4 million viewers was Nickelodeon’s new ‘tween’ hit, How To Rock, staring Cymphonique Miller as Kacey Simon, a popular girl turned outcast after she is saddled with braces and glasses.

The popularity of the show is no surprise combining all-star music talent with executive producer David M. Israel, a contributing writer for popular shows like Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries.Clearly the combination is working.
