Children’s Project Of The Year
Memphis, TN – The young West Memphis, Arkansas recording artist Anointed By God (A.B.G.) can now add Stellar Award winner to their list of accomplishments. This eclectic group of gifted teen vocalists and instrumentalists won the 2013 Stellar Gospel Music Award for Children Project of the Year during the 28th Annual Stellar Awards weekend held in Nashville, TN.
“We were so excited to receive a Stellar Award for our very first project,” said Robert Jones, founder of A.B.G. “We are truly thankful to God, our parents, and supporters for helping and praying for us during this moment.”
Over this past year the talented teens appeared as musical guest for the Love Came Down at Christmas play production Tour, were nominated for two Rhythm of Gospel Awards and have performed with gospel artists Jonathan Nelson, Vincent Tharpe & Kenosis, Kierra Sheard, Alexis Spight, Myron Butler and Martha Munizzi. “Tribute To You” landed on the international iTunes Belgium Top 40 Christian singles chart. Now this talented and energetic group of performers is getting ready to release a brand new single “I’ll Be” featuring powerhouse vocalist Lisa Knowles. This song is taken from their Stellar Award winning, self titled project, Anointed By God, and will definitely have the gospel industry and gospel music fans taking notice of their unique combination of vocal execution and band arrangements.
